A flight of stairs leads down to the tree lined timber boardwalks which run alongside the canal, and lead to one of
the communal swimming pools or, further, to the heart of the Waterfront. There are many benches on which to sit,
soak up the sun and watch the boats ferrying passengers between the centre of Cape Town and the Waterfront.
