At Baviaans Cottage, the open-plan lounge and dining room lead you outdoors, where you are greeted by spectacular mountain views across Hout Bay. The terrace, equipped with an outdoor table, chairs and a large sun umbrella, is the perfect spot for sunny lunches and dinners. The newly built plunge pool in the back garden is the ideal spot for a cool dip on a hot summer's day. The enclosed garden area is small and private, with views of the surrounding mountains.
Wonderfully convenient, Baviaans Cottage is a mere three-minute drive away from Hout Bay's shops, post office, restaurants and long, sandy beach. Baviaans Cottage can be booked with the main house, Baviaans House, to provide additional accommodation for a larger party of up to 16 pax.
For all of you who enjoy a small hike, there is a lovely path at the end of the cul-de-sac that leads up the hill to a waterfall (weather permitting). It is also a lovely setting for a romantic picnic.
