Peacocks, Egyptian geese, cormorants, butterflies, and dragonflies are just some of the other daily visitors.
Boasting magnificent 360 degree valley and mountain views, and set in over 8000 m2 (2 acres) of safe grounds, with beautiful landscaped gardens, a large inviting communal pool, BBQ area, a children's jungle gym/play area in the forest, spectacular views and khoi ponds, this is the perfect setting for an idyllic holiday.
From honeymoon couples to family groups, Sandstone Cottages offers peace, privacy and tranquility. You can just relax by the pool side taking in the breathtaking views and warmth of the African sun, stroll around the spacious grounds, chill out in the double African hammock, or go for mountain walks by just stepping off the property.
A few minutes drive gets you to the child friendly beach of Hout Bay as well as the local restaurants and shopping facilities. Go little further afield and you can visit the wine farms of Constantia or the slick and sophisticated entertainment areas of Camps Bay. The V&A Waterfront is about 30 minutes drive.
All cottages are furnished in an African contemporary style and equipped to a high standard with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, digital telephone and safe, satellite TV, wireless internet, remote alarm system, and individual outside entertainment areas/terraces.
